Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical systems including motors, drives, control panels, and power distribution.
- Work with 120 / 240 / 480-volt systems, installing and maintaining conduit, wiring, relays, and control circuits.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and control systems (Allen-Bradley preferred), including I/O, sensors, and basic logic.
- Support and diagnose VFDs, AC/DC motor drives, and electro-mechanical equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Aid in the installation, commissioning, and start-up of new electrically driven equipment.
- Utilize electrical diagnostic tools such as multimeters, amp meters, and oscilloscopes.
- Collaborate with mechanical maintenance team members on equipment requiring both electrical and mechanical repair.
- Perform limited facility electrical support as needed (lighting, building systems, etc.).
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Valid PA Driver’s License (ability to operate box trucks).
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems and electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred), VFDs, and motor controls.
- Knowledge of power distribution, control wiring, and electrical safety practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues down to the component level.
- Comfortable working with diagnostic equipment and electrical test tools.
Preferred
- Basic mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
- Electrical panel building or modification experience.
Qualifications

$30.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Industrial manufacturing environment with heat, dust, and noise.
- Prolonged standing, repetitive movement, and frequent hands-on work.
- Ability to lift up to 130 lbs.
