Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of electrical technicians and subcontractors on industrial construction projects
- Plan and coordinate all electrical activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety standards
- Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and components
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project schedules and budgets
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with design specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, providing technical expertise and guidance to the team
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and change orders
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Electrical Foreman in an industrial construction setting
- Thorough understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols
- Expertise in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Proficiency in using electrical tools and equipment, including meters, testing devices, and power tools
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, with a commitment to ensuring compliance
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Wastewater treatment facility experience preferred
