Our client, an electric motor company, is seeking an experienced Electric Motor Winder to join their electromechanical service team. This role blends hands-on technical execution with precision workmanship, ensuring all motor components meet strict quality and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, inspect, diagnose, and repair AC and DC electric motors.
  • Remove damaged windings and prepare stators, armatures, and rotors for rewinding.
  • Wind, form, install, and connect coils according to engineering specifications.
  • Re-insulate motor components using proper materials and techniques.
  • Perform coil winding, lacing, soldering, brazing, and varnishing operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of electric motor winding and repair experience.
  • Strong experience with both AC and DC motors.
  • Ability to read and interpret winding diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of motor testing equipment and repair procedures.
  • Understanding of industrial motor construction and operation.

Pay

$38+/hour
