Our client, an electric motor company, is seeking an experienced Electric Motor Winder to join their electromechanical service team. This role blends hands-on technical execution with precision workmanship, ensuring all motor components meet strict quality and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect, diagnose, and repair AC and DC electric motors.
- Remove damaged windings and prepare stators, armatures, and rotors for rewinding.
- Wind, form, install, and connect coils according to engineering specifications.
- Re-insulate motor components using proper materials and techniques.
- Perform coil winding, lacing, soldering, brazing, and varnishing operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of electric motor winding and repair experience.
- Strong experience with both AC and DC motors.
- Ability to read and interpret winding diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of motor testing equipment and repair procedures.
- Understanding of industrial motor construction and operation.
