Industrial Design Intern

About the role
The Product Design Internship Program at Munchkin provides hands-on experience in the consumer products industry. Interns will work on real product development projects, including concept generation, problem-solving, and styling of new products. They will use tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, and Keyshot, and collaborate with teams both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Generate product concepts and participate in the design process
- Mock up and 3D model product designs
- Create presentation boards and communicate with overseas operations
- Work on-site in Van Nuys, CA
Requirements
- Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, SolidWorks, and Keyshot
- Experience in product development with integrated technology/IoT
- Ability to work on-site in Van Nuys, CA
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Qualifications
- Experience in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills
