Industrial Craftsman (Painting and/or Flooring)
About the role
Painters USA is seeking dedicated Industrial Craftsmen with experience in industrial painting and/or industrial flooring to join our national travel team.
This position is ideal for skilled tradespeople who enjoy hands-on work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and thrive in a fast-paced, safety-driven industrial environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare job surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface profiling
- Apply primers, coatings, paint systems, or flooring materials using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, or trowels
- Follow production and quality expectations set by Foremen and Project Managers
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Absorb jobsite setup, cleanup, and organization
- Inspect work for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Support safety practices, including hazard reporting and correct PPE usage
- Work effectively with team members to complete tasks on schedule
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial coatings, painting, flooring, or related trades
- Hands-on experience using industrial tools and power equipment
- Basic Plus Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to travel nationally for extended periods (4–5 months based on workload)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb, bend, and work safely in demanding industrial conditions
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to quality craftsmanship

Pay
Pay Scale: Base Hourly Pay: $21.25 – $23.23 per hour
Travel Pay: Additional $5.00 per hour for travel time
Daily Per Diem: $45/day while traveling
Overtime Eligibility: Yes, in accordance with federal and state law
