Industrial Controls Integration Engineer
About the role
Support full-lifecycle automation and control system projects for mission-critical energetics and explosives production facilities. Lead electrical and panel design, develop P&IDs, program PLC and HMI systems, commission new equipment, and provide in-service support for complex industrial systems. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and apply your controls expertise to enhance safety, reliability, and performance in a unique and high-impact environment.

Requirements
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
- Experience supporting the full lifecycle of controls projects from design to commissioning to sustainment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Automation
- 4+ years of experience with Rockwell or Allen-Bradley or 8+ years of experience with Rockwell or Allen-Bradley in lieu of a degree
Skills
- Experience with PlantPAx Distributed Control Systems
- Experience with P&IDs and ISA 5.1 standards
- Experience with SQL databases and reporting tools
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP
- Knowledge of NFPA 79, NFPA 70E, and UL508A electrical standards
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles for industrial control systems
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).

This position is on-site and is located in Indian Head, MD.
