Industrial Coatings Application Specialist (Powder Coat & Paint)

About the role

The Industrial Coatings Application Specialist is responsible for applying powder coat and paint coatings to various industrial parts and components. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder coat and paint coatings to metal and plastic parts using spray guns and other equipment.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
• Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning and priming as necessary.
• Document work processes and results for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in industrial coatings application.
• Knowledge of powder coating and paint application techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications
