Responsibilities

• Enforce all elements of food safety within the plant.
• Maintain upkeep of entrances, floors, utility areas, and storage areas.
• Handle all line clean-ups and document the clean-up processes.
• Enforce all safety rules and regulations.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ensure proper completion of Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) work and be knowledgeable in reading and managing the MSS.
• Ensure all cleaners are used according to manufacturers’ instructions, including proper dilution of bulk cleaning chemicals.
• Manage all line clean-ups, including proper inspection of line equipment.
• Understand and execute procedures for changeovers, shutdowns, startups, periodicals, 100% organic, 100% wash, 100% allergen, and kosher clean-ups.
• Report discrepancies related to HACCP Programs, Allergen Program, GMP Findings, Hold Procedures, and other sanitation management systems to supervisors or the Plant Sanitation Manager.
• Complete Standard of Work (SOW) and any additional assigned tasks.
