Industrial Cleaning Technician

Responsibilities

• Enforce all elements of food safety within the plant.
• Maintain upkeep of entrances, floors, utility areas, and storage areas.
• Handle all line clean-ups and the documentation for clean-ups.
• Enforce all safety rules and regulations.
• Monitor the inventory of cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Ensure the proper completion of Master Sanitation Schedule work.
• Read and manage the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Ensure all cleaners are used as set forth in the manufacturers’ instructions.
• Dilute all bulk cleaning chemicals used in the facility; test proper dilutions using materials provided by the chemical manufacturer.
• Manage all line clean-ups and inspect line equipment properly.
• Understand definitions and procedures for changeovers, shutdowns, startups, periodicals, 100% organic, 100% wash, 100% Allergen, and kosher clean-ups.
• Report discrepancies related to HACCP Programs, Allergen Program, GMP Findings, Hold Procedures, and other sanitation issues to a supervisor or the Plant Sanitation Manager.
• Complete Standard of Work (SOW) and any additional assigned tasks.

• Basic math and reasoning skills.
