Industrial Carpenter (Knight Const. & Supply)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Coincide with job site Superintendent/Foreman to configure construction lay out.
• Choose appropriate materials, including wood, metal, and other construction materials, based on project requirements and specifications.
• Accurately measure, cut, and install materials.
• Install forms for placing concrete and grout.
• Aid in the proper installation of reinforcing, anchors, and imbeds.
• Aid in concrete placement on footings, walls, flatwork, and grade work.
• Perform all duties associated with crane operation, including inspection, maintenance, and safe operation.
• Work within and promote corporate vision, mission, and values of the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience, Skills And Education

• 3+ years proven construction carpentry experience required.
• Current Crane Operator certification highly preferred, or must be able to obtain NCCCO Crane Operator certification within 1 year.
• Industrial machine licenses (such as a forklift license) preferred.
