Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and support industrial control architectures using modern protocols including Rockwell Ethernet/IP and Siemens Profinet
  • Program and support robotic systems including Kawasaki, Fanuc, KUKA, UR, and ABB
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues during system startup and production support
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to deliver complete automation solutions
  • Support customer installations, startups, and validations at domestic and international sites
  • Travel up to 65% to support new customer projects, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Skills & Abilities:
    • Technical degree or equivalent industry experience
    • Experience working onsite in manufacturing facility environments
    • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills
    • Deep knowledge of industrial control, architecture, and networking
    • Proven hands-on experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
    • Experience programming at least one major industrial robot platform; multi-brand experience preferred
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems under pressure
    • Solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems
    • Solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems
    • Strong collaboration, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred:
    • Three years of professional experience in manufacturing automation, robotics, or industrial equipment
    • SolidWorks 3D CAD user experience
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
