Industrial Automation Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

The Industrial Automation Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMI screens, and related equipment. This position requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, as well as proficiency in programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot industrial automation systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to PLCs, HMI screens, and other control systems
• Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure system reliability and efficiency
• Document work performed and communicate findings to relevant parties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation maintenance
• Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic and basic PLC programming
• Experience with HMI screens and related software
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
