About the role

The Industrial Automation Field Support Technologist is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for industrial automation systems in various industrial settings. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues related to industrial automation systems.
• Provide technical guidance to customers on the operation and maintenance of industrial automation equipment.
• Document findings and solutions in a clear and concise manner.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to perform field support and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial automation or related field.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
