About the role

The New CCHS Academy is seeking a passionate and skilled Maintenance Teacher to lead instruction in their Aircraft and Industrial Maintenance Programs. This role offers an opportunity to prepare students for in-demand careers in a high-growth, high-tech industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead instruction in Aircraft and Industrial Maintenance Programs
• Prepare students for in-demand careers in aircraft and industrial maintenance
• Mentor and guide high school students in a safe, engaging, and hands-on learning environment

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of verifiable work experience in aircraft and/or industrial maintenance
• Willingness to pursue and obtain KY Teacher Certification through a state mentoring program + online classes at MSUA
• Genuine desire to mentor and guide high school students
• Create a safe, engaging, and hands-on learning environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching or training experience (not required)
• A&P Certification, OSAH Certification, or other relevant licensure
