Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial ammonia refrigeration systems. Works closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure system efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues in ammonia refrigeration systems
• Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in using refrigeration diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
