Job Summary
Join one of the nation’s largest and most respected electrical distributors, State Electric Supply Co., as an Account Manager (Outside Sales Representative). Drive business growth by providing exceptional service to customers and focusing on Industrial, Commercial, and Residential products.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
- Present, promote, and educate customers on products and provide innovative solutions.
- Partner with inside sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and other industry functions.
What You Bring To The Table
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the electrical distribution or related industry.
- Knowledge of Industrial, Commercial, or Residential sales preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for building customer relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
