Responsibilities

  • Maintain a full-time caseload of 22 to 25 clients.
  • Provide individual, youth, family, and couples counseling.
  • Assessment, treatment, and termination of cases.
  • Coordination of services.
  • Work with the clinical team to initiate and maintain community relationships.
  • Participate in team meetings, clinical training, and other agency activities.
  • Participate in the planning and improvement process at the agency.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Animal Assisted Psychotherapy certification (CAAP Licensure) is a plus.
  • Ability to engage clients, complete assessments and treatment plans, and carry out strategic interventions.
  • Experience in community mental health is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to drive to and from service and meeting locations is preferred.
