About the role
Focus on indirect procurement categories: MRO, Site Services, and CAPEX. Lead all RFI/RFP/RFQ activities including scope development, bid package design, qualitative and quantitative supplier evaluation, long/short list analysis, and commercial negotiations. Deliver consistent year-over-year cost savings across the highest-spend and most complex categories.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and should-cost frameworks to anchor sourcing decisions on category value propositions and supplier program recommendations.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing approaches to minimize CapEx costs, as well as commercial and legal risks.
- Lead the supplier selection process, including commercial and legal negotiations for agreements.
- Develop and execute project sourcing and contracting strategies to support project and company growth objectives.
- Guide procurement staff of internal and external partners, motivating them to perform at their maximum potential.
- Develop, monitor, and report key supplier performance metrics.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and key suppliers on new areas of value creation by driving improvement opportunities and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required—Business Administration, Engineering, or other relevant fields.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial roles, preferably with experience in indirect sourcing spend categories such as MRO, Site Services, and CAPEX.
