Responsibilities

• Execute and design cost opportunities for manufacturing sites
• Comply with Essity procedures, purchasing policy, and financial instructions
• Support Sourcing managers in the execution of tenders, supplier qualification, supplier selection, and risk management
• Work closely with all stakeholders to drive continuous improvement through cost-saving projects, organizing trials, implementing supplier changes, and tracking savings
• Maintain and develop a knowledge database, aligning reporting capability across the hub and coordinating systems improvements, driving initiatives such as E-procurement
• Review and monitor sourcing operational needs when working with suppliers, ensuring effective communication of best practices
• Review and maintain records of approved suppliers in line with Essity risk policy
• Ensure professional and ethical management of Essity’s interests in all supplier interactions, complying with Essity Supplier Standard
• Integrate common product types across the location where appropriate
• Supply regular updates and KPIs to Sourcing managers to ensure effective communication of cost-saving activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's in supply chain preferred but not required
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing buyer position
• Organized and comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to prioritize and troubleshoot requests
• Strong communication skills
• Good project management skillset
• Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic
