Job Description
We are currently hiring for various optical positions at Heartland Vision's Greenwood location. These roles include Optometrists, Opticians, and Retail Staff.
Optician
- Interpret prescriptions to advise on care and use prescription contact lenses, prescription eyeglasses & sunglasses
- Measure frame and faces for optimal fit and style
- Constant customer interaction both in person and over the phone
- Sociable personality required
Optometrist
- Perform eye exams
- Write prescriptions for eyeglasses and contacts
- Prescribe medications
- Diagnose and treat diseases
- Manage pre and post-operation care
Retail Staff
- Aid customers with selecting their perfect frames
- Understand customer insurance
- Constant customer interaction both in person and over the phone
- Sociable personality required
