Employment Opportunity Details

  • Above average base salary, retention bonus, performance/metric bonus and option for additional shift work for pay
  • Hearty sign on bonus and relocation eligible
  • Occurrence Based Malpractice coverage
  • All cardiopulmonary bypass cases are done with solo cardiac anesthesiologist.
  • Adult Cardiac Cases including: cardiopulmonary bypass, mitral valves, DaVinci thoracotomies, thoracotomies, TAVR, SAVR and vascular cases including: abdominal aortic aneurysm, aortic endograft, vascular bypassing (*list not comprehensive)
  • Familiarity with Transesophageal Echocardiography is required.
  • Call will be equitably distributed among call takers. The week is taken 1 week at a time with very rare callback or work past 3pm. Call is taken from home, in house not required.
  • No OB!
  • 8 weeks' vacation/PTO
  • Patient draw base of over 500K
  • Level 3 trauma center
  • Wide variety of cases- almost all except major trauma and transplant!
  • Wide variety of ages: peds (healthy) 6mo and up!

Qualifications

  • BC/BE, ACLS, BLS
  • MD/DO Indiana License or eligible
  • Excellent communication skills
