Independent Living Skills Coach – an entry‑level position responsible for providing a supportive, person‑centered environment for clients.

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is the largest nonprofit mental health provider in Minnesota, with over 50 years of experience delivering innovative community health solutions.

Responsibilities

• Document client interactions in the organization’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and any program‑specific documentation systems, ensuring clear communication with clients, staff, and other parties.
• Prepare, serve, and clear client/program meals in accordance with scheduling, sanitation, nutrition, and safety standards.
• Administer medication following organization and program policies and procedures.
• Perform daily housekeeping and maintain general cleanliness of client homes, program areas, and workstations per organizational requirements.
• Conduct regular rounds (room checks) throughout the facility.
• Support individuals in mental health management by identifying coping skills, practicing them, and introducing alternative methods.

Schedule

Full‑Time; Overnight: Wednesday‑Saturday, 10 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.

Pay

Hiring range: $22 – $23.76 per hour (non‑exempt), depending on qualifications. Includes a $1,000 bonus for external candidates and a $2 per hour shift differential for Monday‑Friday evening shifts.
