Independent Contractors- Carriers

Pathmark Transportation is seeking an independent contractor carrier for OTR routes based in San Antonio. Candidates must own their own truck and authority, and will be responsible for loading and unloading as required by customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle freight up to 70 lbs.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Report any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries or equipment promptly.
• Utilize a handheld scanner to capture data on all cartons and ensure deliveries are made within specified windows.
• Maintain a steady, safe pace while operating the vehicle.

Qualifications

• Valid authority (up to six months old).
• Valid insurance that meets company standards.
• Own a truck and possess the necessary authority to operate as an independent contractor.

Schedule

10‑hour and 8‑hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with night shifts and weekend work as needed.
