Independent Contractor SQF Technical Reviewer
Responsibilities
- Provide technical reviews of SQF audits and audit reports.
- Conduct technical and quality assurance reviews of audit reports within desired volume of work.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and prescribed turnaround times.
- Review, evaluate, and potentially reject/return audit reports that do not meet quality, accreditation, or scheme requirements back to the auditor along with reason(s) for rejection and action necessary.
Qualifications
- 2 years work experience in food safety and/or quality management.
- Complete at least 80 hours of food safety auditing in food industry.
- Education degree – Food Technology.
- Must have completed SQF Professional Development annual training.
- Standard Certificate - Auditing SQF Systems (4-day training course).
- HACCP Certificate (2-day, 16-hour course).
About the Role
The Technical Reviewer within the Food & Nutrition Division assesses and completes technical reviews of SQF audit reports. This work is performed on a as needed basis.
