About the Role
Provide expertise in all Company transactional issues, including risk, compliance, insurance, and other presented concerns. Review, draft exceptions, advise, assist in negotiation, obtain approval, and finalize all contracts within Company guidelines. Analyze risks, develop exceptions, and provide answers to Company and customer requests. Advise the Company and manage processes to ensure effective contract bidding, appropriate insurance requirements, and compliance notifications.
Responsibilities
- Timely review of all Company Contracts, Job Tickets, Purchase Orders, and other Agreements.
- Advisory to the Company concerning risks associated with Agreements, including damages, indemnification issues, appropriate insurance coverages, and other contract-related concerns.
- Draft appropriate exceptions and ancillary documents to meet Company objectives.
- Advise on contract compliance/audit requirements and draft changes/exceptions as needed.
- Advise, assist, and draft documentation for contract bidding purposes.
- Assist in the retention of Company Contracts, Agreements, and other documents, and facilitate reporting to Senior Management.
- Advise and assist administrative personnel in processing and maintaining Contracts/Agreements.
- Assist in the contract negotiation process with customers as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3 years’ experience in corporate transactional matters.
- Proficiency in IFS, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Ability to prioritize and perform work with a sense of urgency, managing tight deadlines effectively.
- Strong initiative, ability to advise and influence, and escalate matters while maintaining strong relationships.
- Ability to work 50 hours per week or more as needed, with flexible hours to meet the demands of the contract review process.
