Independent Contractor EM for a hospital located in the Texas area!

Envision is seeking an Independent Contractor Emergency Medicine physician for a hospital in Texas, with a focus on providing quality coverage in a specialized setting.

About the Facility

The Woman's Hospital of Texas is a specialty hospital dedicated to the health of women and newborns in the Greater Houston area. It offers care in obstetrics, high-risk pregnancy, neonatology, pediatric care, gynecology, urogynecology, and breast health. The campus features:

• Woman's Maternal-Fetal Care Center
• Advanced Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• OB Intensive Care Unit
• Pediatric ER

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care in a 14-bed ED with an annual volume of 12,000 patients
• Manage OB/GYN and pediatric cases
• Work within a 24-hour physician coverage model, covering two shifts per day (6am–6pm and 6pm–6am)

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (certification must be achieved within 3 years if board eligible)
• Certification by the American Board of Medicine or its osteopathic equivalent
• Active ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (if board eligible)
• Active Texas medical license and DEA certification
• Comfortable with OB/GYN and pediatric emergency cases
