Incoming Quality Inspector - 1st Shift

As an Incoming Quality Technician on the 1st shift, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring our parts and/or products meet customer specifications while helping strengthen processes across the plant. In this role, you will inspect incoming parts, support product inspections as needed, analyze data, and partner with operations to identify root causes and drive improvement. Your contributions will directly support safe, efficient production and a positive customer experience. By reinforcing standardized processes and supporting training across shifts, you will help create consistency, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship.

Responsibilities
- Perform product inspections at multiple stages of the manufacturing process.
- Inspect units prior to customer final inspection.
- Identify root causes and close Quality Notifications (QNs).
- Support customer issue resolution and wrap-up meeting actions.
- Create, communicate, and maintain quality alerts.
- Assist with procedure reviews, audits, and CCRP action items.
- Verify adherence to standardized processes and work instructions.
- Support training efforts to promote safety, quality, and consistency across shifts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing or quality-focused environment preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills with willingness to learn Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyze issues and support root cause problem-solving.
- Comfort working collaboratively across teams and shifts.
- Commitment to safe work practices and high-quality standards.
