Incoming Inspector Level I (2nd Shift)

Responsibilities

• Assure proper garbing according to Sharp requirements.
• Verify all documentation matches the material labeling and item specification.
• Execute sampling and inspection of components and bulk product ensuring compliance with item specification and document results on inspection forms.
• Operate various testing equipment (FT-IR, Keyence, Magna-Mike, UV-Vis, Global Vision) and document results on inspection forms.
• Use and read calipers and rulers.
• Work in electronics systems for inventory, training, and documentation storage.
• Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits at the discretion of senior management.
• Train designated peers at management request.
• Absorb controlled substances during receiving, transfer, and shipping processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of quality or manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of cGMP (21CFR 210, 211, 820) and/or DEA regulations for controlled substances.
• Knowledge of DEA regulations for controlled substances.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, team building, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Thorough and accurate work habits.
• Proficiency in using a variety of test and measurement equipment.
• Compliance with procedures.
• Report and documentation production capability.
• Ability to work overtime (weekend – Saturday and/or Sundays).
