About the role

The Account Analyst is responsible for complex bookkeeping and clerical duties required for the day-to-day operation of the City of Troy Income Tax division, including performing various tasks required to collect taxes and to process and audit income tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex bookkeeping and clerical duties for the Income Tax division
• Collect taxes and process income tax returns
• Audit income tax returns

Requirements

• Completion of secondary education
• Experience in office practices and procedures with additional course work in accounting/bookkeeping
• Minimum of 3 years in an equivalent position, preferably in a municipal Income Tax environment
• Demonstrated responsibilities equivalent to the requirements of this position
