Incident Response Manager

About the role

This role is for a senior cybersecurity professional responsible for leading enterprise incident response engagements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee containment, investigation, recovery, and remediation efforts during incidents
• Advise executive leadership and stakeholders throughout incident response
• Direct thorough investigations and root cause analyses
• Mentor incident response teams and ensure operational excellence
• Collaborate across cybersecurity, risk, privacy, and forensics teams to support business growth and client relationships

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years in incident response or related cybersecurity fields
• At least seven years leading response teams and large‑scale engagements
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or GCIH preferred
• Proven experience using industry frameworks like NIST and SANS
• Expertise in digital forensics, SIEM, EDR/XDR platforms, automation tools
• Experience with Windows, Linux, cloud platforms, and networking environments
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
• Ability to handle multiple high‑priority projects
• Travel required
