Incident Response Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Manager, Incident Response to lead cyber incident response activities within our advisory practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage incident response efforts including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery for client security incidents.
• Oversee investigations of cyber threats such as ransomware, data breaches, insider threats, and persistent threats.
• Coordinate incident response engagements, including client communication, executive briefings, and stakeholder management across legal, forensics, privacy, and leadership teams.
• Conduct root cause analysis, develop improvement plans, and integrate findings with cyber resilience strategies.
• Manage incident response performance, define metrics, and enhance response methodologies and service offerings.
• Collaborate across threat management, governance, risk, compliance, privacy, and technology teams while mentoring incident response personnel.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in cybersecurity incident response or cyber threat management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced degrees preferred.

Skills

• Proven ability to lead investigations, manage escalations, and apply frameworks like NIST or SANS.
• Hands-on expertise with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, including engaging with senior executives.
• High integrity, professionalism, and judgment in handling sensitive matters.
• Authorization to work in the U.S; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
