Responsibilities

  • Complete administrative tasks related to properly receiving materials to ensure suppliers are paid on time, including scanning, filing, and archiving packing slips, invoicing, and documenting credit purchases.
  • Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move, or hoist materials to proper departments or areas in preparation for receiving.
  • Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Participate in daily inventory control management practices within the warehouse.
  • Optimize warehouse storage locations.
  • Maintain cGMP within the warehouse to maintain certification status.
  • Maintain 5S within the warehouse for cleanliness and organization.
  • Dispose of obsolete inventory in accordance with safety data sheets.
  • Support kitting activities when required.
  • Participate in monthly “Field Days” for inventory.
  • Communicate improvement ideas for inventory storage and process flow.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will embrace a mindset of Extreme Ownership, taking full responsibility for their contributions and driving positive outcomes.
  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse storage and inventory management for a manufacturing company.
  • Solid warehouse operations background.
  • Experience with forklift and pallet jack equipment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with warehouse management systems and knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with and experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Education and Experience: 1-3 years of experience in warehouse and inventory control practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance.
