Inbound Distribution Specialist

About the role

Camping World is seeking a Logistics Associate to join their team at the Midwest Distribution Center. The position involves various departments including Shipping, Order Picking, Direct to Consumer, Put away, Inventory, Receiving, and Inbound operations.

Responsibilities

• Process merchandise according to Camping World policies and procedures to ensure efficient and accurate distribution.
• Receive incoming merchandise, inventory sorting or counting, processing orders, picking merchandise, packaging, and shipping merchandise.
• Verify required inbound/outbound documents/labels to ensure merchandise counts are accurate and products are free of damage.
• Use RF Scanners, computers, and handheld printers.
• Operate material handling equipment safely up to the height of 30 feet.
• Communicate system and merchandise issues to the Leadership Team.
• Communicate issues with equipment, product, or structure immediately.
• Complete all duties assigned, including general warehouse duties when business needs require it.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform basic tasks such as reading, counting, basic math calculations.
• Minimum of one year experience in Warehousing, Receiving, or Material Management preferred.
• Team player and cooperative mindset.
• Punctual and ready to work.
• Flexibility in work assignments is essential.
• Willingness to be cross-trained as business needs dictate.
• Willingness to learn all types of equipment used in the DC.

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squating, bending, and reaching during shifts.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistive devices.
