About the role

The Inbound Contacts Representative 2 represents the company by addressing incoming telephone, digital, or written inquiries. The role performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Responsibilities include performing computations, addressing customer needs, recording details of inquiries, and escalating unresolved issues.

Responsibilities

  • Address customer needs which may include complex benefit questions, resolving issues, and educating providers.
  • Record details of inquiries, comments or complaints, transactions or interactions and take appropriate action.
  • Escalate unresolved and pending customer grievances.
  • Interpret area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.

Requirements

  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong typing and computer navigation skills
  • Able to manage multiple or competing priorities
  • Effective verbal and listening communication skills

Qualifications

  • Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous inbound call center or related customer service experience
  • Healthcare experience preferred

Benefits

  • Training: Virtual training beginning Aug 24th, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm EST for the first 8 weeks.
  • Shift: After training, shifts will be assigned Monday-Friday between 8am-6pm EST.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
  • Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
  • Pay Range: $39,000 - $49,400 per year
