About the role

ARS-Rescue Rooter is seeking In-Store Sales Representatives / Lead Generators to represent HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores. The position offers $20–$22 per hour plus uncapped commission, with typical earnings of $25–$35 per hour when incentives are included. Flexible hours are available, with weekend availability required. The role is based in Church Falls, VA and includes part‑time opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
• Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.
• Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs.
• Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune‑ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions.
• Generate qualified leads and schedule in‑home consultations or service appointments.
• Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically.
• Work toward individual and team lead‑generation goals.
• Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.

Requirements

• Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers.
• Retail, kiosk, door‑to‑door, or sales experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts.
• Weekend and some holiday availability.
• Reliable transportation.
• Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand.
• Ability to attend weekly in‑office meetings.
• Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law.
• No prior HVAC experience required.
