In-Store Sales Appointment Setter

About the role

American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Sales Representatives / Lead Generators to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in a retail store environment
• Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations
• Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs
• Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions
• Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments
• Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically

Qualifications

You don't need HVAC experience to be successful. We are looking for people who are:

• Outgoing personality and willingness to speak with shoppers
• Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred (not required)
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts
• Weekend and some holiday availability
• Reliable transportation
• Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
• Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
• Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law

Pay

• $18–$22 per hour + commission
• Average earning potential of $20–$35/hour with commission
• Weekly pay through direct deposit

Schedule

• Flexible part-time and full-time schedules
• Weekends required
• Typically 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
