About the role

Sensei Lāna’i, A Four Seasons Resort offers a luxurious adults-only wellness enclave on the secluded Hawaiian island of Lāna‘i. The In Room Dining Server plays a crucial part in shaping the guest experience by providing exceptional in-room dining service.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional in-room dining service by accurately delivering food and beverages, verifying orders, accommodating dietary restrictions and special requests, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality
Provide personalized guest service by greeting guests warmly, sharing menu knowledge, anticipating needs, and responding promptly to inquiries, concerns, and requests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining equipment, service areas, guest corridors, and workspaces, including setup, breakdown, sanitation, restocking, and timely retrieval of trays and dishware
Deliver guest, daily, and Hale amenities in accordance with brand standards, coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
Process guest checks, room charges, signatures, and billing adjustments accurately and in accordance with established procedures and accounting standards

Requirements

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required. Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card. Hawaii Food Handler’s Card is required for this role. Maui Liquor Card preferred, but not required.
