Thompson Palm Springs Resort is seeking an engaging and hospitality-driven Part-Time In Room Dining Server to join our team! Responsibilities

• Stock, set-up, and deliver all room service orders and property amenities to guest rooms
• Retrieve trays from the guest rooms to maintain a neat and sanitary appearance
• Be knowledgeable of all services provided within the hotel and all menu items
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
• Ensure correct posting in POS system for communication to the service and kitchen department

Requirements

• Riverside County’s Food Handler’s Card
• California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certificate
• Must be at least 21 years of age (required by California law to handle alcoholic beverages)
• Previous experience working at a hotel/resort preferred
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight

Pay

The budgeted rate for this role is $16.90 per hour. This is the hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.
