About the Role

To accurately take all guests' room service (R/S) orders, communicate them to the servers, and expedite service. Responsible for performing all control and revenue-related paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone within three rings.
• Take orders for guests.
• Follow prepared scenarios to encourage upselling.
• Provide the approximate time of delivery for orders.
• Process payment of checks.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the food menu and wine list.
• Adhere to all liability laws.
• Print reports at the end of the shift and complete banking procedures.
• Complete other assigned duties.
• Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

• Previous food and beverage experience in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Room service experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
