In-Person Estimator/Field Operations

About the role

The In-Person Estimator/Field Operations position is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects in the Newport, RI area. This role requires extensive experience in field operations and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects
• Review project specifications and drawings to accurately assess materials and labor costs
• Communicate with clients and project managers to ensure understanding of project scope and budget
• Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field operations and construction estimating
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
