About the role
The role serves as a key legal partner to sales, operations, and leadership teams, focusing on managing commercial, technology, and healthcare-related contracts and supporting general corporate transactional work.
Responsibilities
- Manage and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and BAAs
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy requirements
- Provide practical, business-oriented guidance on healthcare and technology agreements
- Work with Ironclad CLM to optimize contract workflows
Requirements
- 5+ years of legal experience, specializing in health tech, commercial contracting, tech contracting, and/or corporate transactions in healthcare, technology, or a related regulated industry
- Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating high-volume agreements
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, with a focus on PHI handling, data privacy, and security considerations
- Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle, billing, coding, or clearinghouse operations
- Experience with Ironclad CLM and an interest in leveraging technology, including AI tools, to improve legal workflows
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (Tennessee or ability to waive in preferred)
