In-House Counsel

Priority Sports & Entertainment, a full-service Sports Management and Marketing firm is currently seeking an experienced and licensed attorney to serve as In-House Counsel, working with each of the company’s divisions including: Legal/Business, Coaches & Broadcasters, Basketball, Football, Marketing and the Women’s Division, with a heightened focus on Revenue Share/NIL and Marketing contracts for collegiate clientele. Duties And Responsibilities Provide direction and support for basketball and football agents regarding the negotiation of deals (revenue sharing, collective, third-party NIL, marketing, etc.) for collegiate clientele, including reviewing, redlining, and negotiating such contracts. Stay on the cutting edge of the ever-changing landscape of collegiate sports, including ongoing litigation regarding player and coaching compensation, tax ramifications, etc., and assisting/educating agents in navigating such developments. Provide direction and support for Marketing Team regarding the negotiation of marketing deals for NBA, NFL, and WNBA clientele with outside brands and agencies. Assist coaches agents in the review of contracts for professional and collegiate coaching clientele. Assist Coaches Division Operations in maintaining database of collegiate coaching contracts, including producing contract analyses for negotiations. Assist General Counsel and CFO with other internal legal needs. Uphold and build upon the current internal culture and maintain the positive energy/collaboration throughout the company. Must be flexible to work within deadlines, including times outside the standard 9-5 during busy times.
