Our client is seeking an experienced attorney to join its in-house legal team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership on sophisticated commercial transactions, project development initiatives, financing activities, and strategic business operations. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted legal advisor across a broad range of matters, supporting project acquisitions, development, financing, commercial contracting, and corporate initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements
• Support renewable energy project development and acquisition activities
• Assist with project financing transactions and due diligence efforts
• Coordinate legal support for debt and equity financing
• Negotiate vendor, construction, lease, and customer agreements
• Partner with business leaders to identify and mitigate legal risks
• Assist with contract templates and internal legal processes
• Support corporate governance and risk management initiatives
• Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, development, and executive leadership
• Manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
• Experience in commercial transactions, corporate law, real estate, or project finance
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Experience with renewable energy, infrastructure, construction, or commercial real estate is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to balance legal risk with practical business solutions
• Prior in-house experience is a plus

$170,000 - $220,000 per year
