In-house Architect Production Homebuilder

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, California-licensed Residential Architect to join our team as an in-house design and production leader for residential tract home developments. This position will be responsible for architectural design, preparation, coordination, review, and stamping of construction documents for multiple residential projects throughout Northern California. The Architect will oversee a team of drafters and designers, ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations, and collaborate closely with engineering consultants, project managers, and construction teams.

Requirements

• Active Architect license in the State of California.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5-10 years of architectural experience, with significant experience in residential tract home design.
• Demonstrated experience preparing and signing residential construction documents.
• Strong knowledge of California Building Code, Title 24 Energy Code, zoning requirements, and permitting processes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
• Experience managing multiple projects and supervising drafting/design teams.
• 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD.
• 1+ years of experience with Architectural Engineering.
• 1+ years of construction experience.
• Background in Architecture.

• Experience working with production homebuilders or residential developers.
• Knowledge of value engineering and construction cost optimization.
• Experience with master-planned communities and large-scale residential developments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
