In-Home Therapist

About the role

The In-Home Therapist (IHT) at Northeast Family Services will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy sessions in clients' homes
• Implement structured, consistent, and strength-based therapeutic interventions
• Treat youth's behavioral needs
• Work with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders (preferred)
• Work with children on the autism spectrum (desirable)

Requirements

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education or related field
• At least 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting
• Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders (highly desirable)
• Experience with working with children on the autism spectrum (desirable)
• Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
• Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions

Pay

• Full-Time: Salary $64,000 to $72,000
• Fees-for-service: $50 to $70 per hour
• Incentive rate: $60/hour over productivity
