About the role
Responsible for providing support services to children, youth, and families in a home or community setting. Experience working with children and those diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to clients
- Assist with daily living activities
- Engage in therapeutic interventions
- Document client interactions and progress
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience working with children, youth, and families
- Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of child development and psychology
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
