About the role
Provides support services to children, youth, and families in a home or community setting. Works with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document client needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions
- Coordinate with other professionals and family members
- Document progress and communicate with clients and families
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience working with children, youth, and families
- Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management
- Passion for working with vulnerable populations
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
