In-Home Senior Caregiver

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Aid with meal planning, preparation, and feeding when necessary
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, vacuuming, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean living environment
• Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
• Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental condition
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and client care plans
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, supervisors, and healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Previous caregiving, home care, healthcare, or related experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
