About the role

A Step Above Home Care LLC is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as caregivers.

Responsibilities

- Provide personalized in-home care to our clients - Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, transportation - Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities - Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times - Maintain accurate records of care provided

Requirements

WEEKDAY SHIFT (No Weekends) Previous experience as a caregiver is REQUIRED Compassionate and reliable individual with a strong work ethic Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must pass a background check & drug screen

Skills

Experience with systems and home community care Strong knowledge of medical terminology and ADLs Ability to work with clients with varying levels of care needs, including those in memory care and hospice care Compassionate and empathetic approach to caregiving Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with assisted living and home health environments Ability to lift and transfer clients as needed Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and privacy
