About the role
We’re looking for In-Home Sales & Tech Support to work during our busiest hours. This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone starting their career, who enjoys talking to people and wants hands-on sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Start with paid training to prepare you to work independently in the field.
- Learn our products and gain hands-on sales experience while building skills in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.
- Ongoing coaching and mentoring will support your growth and help you stay confident and tech-savvy.
- Put the Serve, Solve, Sell™ model into action by:
- Serve: Meet customers in-home, in-office, or wherever they are. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire interaction, always prioritizing the customer first.
- Solve: Utilize your expertise to address and resolve customers’ tech issues, provide an understandable solution, regardless of their tech knowledge. Ensure customers leave with a resolution that works and a product that addresses their future tech needs.
- Sell: Leverage Asurion’s growing range of products to offer tailored solutions to customers. Listen actively to identify customer needs and position products uniquely to meet those needs. Use strong negotiation and communications skills – you know how to make a smooth pivot, and are highly motivated to get it right and make the appropriate sale.
Requirements
- Comfortable working in a sales environment with set targets.
- A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record with at least 1 year driving experience.
- A personal vehicle (excluding motorcycles).
- Work a varied 5-day week schedule designed to meet customers on their timeline – this will include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be comfortable working around household pets.
- Efficient, adaptable, goal-oriented and persuasive communication skills.
- Naturally outgoing individual who thrives in human interaction.
Qualifications
- Must be available to travel up to 120 miles one-way from the inventory warehouse.
- Must be able to provide proof of valid car insurance (excluded: Manhattan).
- Must be open-minded with a passion for learning a wide range of skills that will carry through a variety of career paths.

Pay
Pay Rate: $23.00 hourly + mileage reimbursement + phone stipend + sales commission
Schedule
Part-Time Schedule: 5 evenings/week – Hours: 4:05pm to 9:00pm
